About

Mission

The mission of the Hugh and Hazel Darling Library is to serve the information and research needs of the Hope International University community by providing access to information resources and developing information literacy for lifelong learning.

Instilling Information Literacy

To be information literate, a person must be able to recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information. Information literate people are those who have learned how to learn. Please visit our Information Literacy LibGuide for more information.

Creativity and Innovation

With the magnanimous financial and attentive support of the Treasures 'N' Beyond Thrift Store, the Darling Library has been able to display the Codex Sinaiticus in a beautiful exhibit case.
