Darling Library - Facilities |

The Darling Library provides a wide variety of resources and services that support the information needs of the Hope International University community. The library is situated on the first two floors of the center core building on the Nutwood campus where it.houses more than 65,000 books, audiovisuals, and print periodicals. The library also provides access to to over 28,000 eBooks through the OPAC and thousands of eJournals through various online research databases. |

The Information Commons, located on the 2nd floor of the Darling Library, is a research center and computer lab available for Hope International University student, faculty, and staff use during all hours of library operations. Trained staff available to assist with the use of electronic research tools, searching online databases, and some technical troubleshooting. Features:Free Wireless

Occasionally the IC is reserved for classroom instruction. Signs will be posted at least 24 hours ahead of time. Check in at the staff desk with a valid University ID card is required. |

Other servicesFax MachineYou may send and receive FAXes through the Circulation Desk. Ask the Library Assistant for per page charges that apply for local, long distance, or international calls. PhotcopyingA photocopier is available on the 1st floor (black & white only). Copies are10¢ per page. ID Cards
Reciprocal Borrowing at Other LibrariesThe IEALC (Inland Empire Academic Libraries Cooperative) and SCATLA (Southern California Area Theological Librarians Association) consortia provide students from Hope access to resources from other libraries. This includes schools such as Biola, Azusa Pacific, Citrus College, Mt. San Antonio College, and many others. Students interested in using this program must see the Reference Librarian for an authorization card. The CSUF library is also available for use by Hope students, faculty, and staff with a valid Hope Internationon University I.D. card and an authorization letter from the Darling Library. |
