Moving Theory Into Practice: Digital Imaging Tutorial
The Department of Preservation and Conservation of Cornell University Library announces the public release of its online digital imaging tutorial, Moving Theory into Practice. This tutorial serves as a standalone introduction to the use of digital imaging to convert and make accessible cultural heritage materials. The tutorial is currently available in both English and Spanish and consists of sections encompassing all the major aspects of digital imaging: Selection, Conversion, Quality Control, Metadata, Technical Infrastructure, Presentation, Digital Preservation, and Management.

California Digital Library (CDL)
The California Digital Library is a "co-library" of the UC campuses, with a focus on digital materials and services. Many of the resources of the CDL are freely available to the public. Currently these include the Melvyl® Catalog of UC library materials, the Periodicals Database, the CDL Directory of Collections and Services, the finding aids of the Online Archive of California and the digitized primary source material (e.g. photographs, manuscript pages, and correspondence) embedded in many of the finding aids.

California State University, Software & Electronic Information Resources (CSU-SEIR)
A consortium of the California State Universities and the California Community Colleges.

Library of California (LOC)
An electronic network of California libraries that will eventually make it possible for any Californian to use any library anywhere in the state.
