American Psychological Association
The home page of the APA, the world's largest association of psychologists.

Classics in the History of Psychology
Full texts of a large number of historically significant public domain documents from the scholarly literature of psychology and allied disciplines. There are now over 20 books and over 100 articles and chapters on-line. The site also contains links to over 170 relevant works posted at other sites.

Current Topics in Psychology
Created by clinical psychologist Michael Fenichel, this hotlist links to general reference and topic-specific articles, Web sites and research tools.

Cyber-Psych
Award winning site. Links to a wide range of psychological resources which include self-help groups, professional organizations, schools.

Internet Mental Health
Developed by Canadian psychiatrist, Dr. Phillip Long, and billed as a free encyclopedia of mental health information, the site covers a number of mental health topics. Each of the listed disorders contains a description, diagnosis, treatment, research, personal stories, articles, and external links.

Kids Count
This project is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the United States. Link directly to the 2000 KIDS COUNT Data Book. See also Success in School: Education Ideas that Count and other publications.

Psych Central
Dr. John Grohol's Mental Health Page, a one-stop index for psychology, support, mental health issues, and resources on the internet.

Tests & Measurements

Association for Psychological Type
This site is devoted to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and related instruments and ethics. Resources for the dynamics of personality development are listed. It also includes links to FAQs and related Web sites.

Buros Institute for Mental Measurement
The Institute provides professional assistance, expertise, and information to users of commercially published tests...[and] promotes meaningful and appropriate test selection, utilization and practice.

Buros Classified Subject Index
Classifies all tests included in the Mental Measurements Yearbook (since the 9th edition, 1985) into 19 major categories. After each test title, the MMY edition where those reviews can be found is noted. The Classified Subject Index can be helpful if you are seeking a listing of tests in given subject areas.

Neuropsychology Central Assessment
Links to Literature and Tests, Scales, Checklists and Batteries with an emphasis on testing those neurologically impaired. Includes resources on the neurological assessment of children.

Resource Materials on Personality Typing

Educational Testing Service test collection database contains records on over 10,000 tests and research instruments. Also includes a collection of abstracts and descriptions of almost 200 tests used with limited English proficient students and a directory of test publishers.
