Reciprocal Borrowing Policies

The CSUF library next door is also available for use by the Hope community. However, to borrow materials from the Pollack Library, current Hope students, faculty, and staff must present their HIU ID card and an authorization letter from the Darling Library for each term. NOTE: You must be registered as a current Darling Library patron to obtain a letter of authorization.

The Darling Library's membership in IEALC (Inland Empire Academic Libraries Cooperative) and SCATLA (Southern California Area Theological Librarians Association) consortia allows our students to borrow resources from other libraries such as Biola, Azusa Pacific, Citrus College, Mt. San Antonio College, and many others. (Click on the links above to see the full lists of participating libraries.) NOTE: Students interested in using these libraries must see our Reference Librarian for an authorization card.
