Information Commons

    The Information Commons, located on the 2nd floor of the Darling Library, is a research center and computer lab available for Hope International University students, faculty, and staff during all hours of library operations. To use the computers, you will prompted to login with your Hope International University email account. Trained staff are available to assist with the use of electronic research tools, searching online databases, and technical troubleshooting.


    In the IC, you may make use of the following services and equipment:

    Free Wireless - accessible from any wireless enabled device (login required.)

    30 iMac Computers - equipped with MacOS and Windows 7, S.P.S.S. – Statistical analysis software, USB ports, CD-R/RW drives, Headphones, and built-in WebCams.

    Multi-card reader

    Scanners (2)

    Printing - Black & White (5 cents/page) and Color (30 cents/page )


    Photocopying - A photocopier is available on the 1st floor (black & white only). Copies are 10 cents per page


  • The library also provides ID card services in the Information Commons. University identification cards may be obtained through the library. Cards are processed between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. If you have questions, please email us or call (714) 879-3901, ext. 1234.
